The credential vault (available on plans that include it) is a secure place to store the passcodes and account logins you sometimes need to complete a repair — kept encrypted rather than scribbled on a job sheet.

Storing a credential

From a customer or job, add a credential with a label (for example 'Device PIN' or 'Apple ID') and its value. It is stored encrypted.

Using it responsibly

  • Only store what you genuinely need to do the work.
  • Remove credentials once a repair is complete if the customer prefers.
  • Access is limited to your signed-in staff.

Treat customer credentials with the same care you would expect for your own.
